Can I get a review on the stainless steel exhaust system from Sunbeam Specialties?


I purchased mine around 10 years ago, replacing the original. I had to order the down pipes separately.  The ceramic donut flange gasket between the exhaust manifold and down pipe was easily sourced at one of the local Napa parts places.   Probably find it at CJ Pony.  Stainless band clamps are available for diy installation.


I'm particularly interested in fit/ease of installation, and the exhaust note.?


I find the exhaust note quite pleasing maybe slightly 'clearer' definitely 'throaty' at idle behind my 260/ Stock 2 bbl/ K&N Air Filter / aftermarket cam (Comp Cam CL31-215-2) .  Nice note at speed.  I installed it myself and seemed to fit without modification...chrome tips match original angle/look etc. No sign of discoloration or corrosion even at sea level after all these years.  IMO, seems like one of the better choices available.
