That information is for a "voltage triggered" tach, we have "current
triggered" tachs.
WHICH Pertronix do you have?
Original (points replacement) style Pertronix like mine should work fine
with the stock tach... IF it still works
correctly!
There is a Pertronix 3 (or 4) that does multiple sparks like an MSD but
doesn't have a tach output, I don't
have a clue how that would ever work.
