It came from a Mexican truck of some sort. It has a vin number stamped on the pad at the back of the block. And I think it has a date code on the pad in front of the intake manifold location.. I’ll check just for chuckles. Will get casting number from block if anyone is interested.
Holes are blind holes for fasteners as I recall (I’ll check after lunch)l. None into water jackets and main bearing webs are thicker and rod caps are heavier.
Perfect for stroker… or boosted app. I was gonna use it for a next gen LSR motor. Then I managed to coax some power from my existing DSS block and ran my goal speed. So no longer needed…

Mayf, uep think that is the block recommended for a stroker. I believe they were manufactured for Ford pick up trucks. mark L
