[Tigers] Small Block Ford 260 cam spacer thrust plate timing gear

Would be interesting to know if the Ford replacement cam comes with a grooved thrust plate. I read somewhere that that was an update. Could be wrong. Best of luck.

When I went to replace the timing chain/gearset I discovered the new timing gear had the spacer molded into the timing gear.  Originally installed the original spacer with the new timing gear (double spacer).   When the assembly was rotated by hand I thought the cam shaft was going to pop out of the block.  I removed the spacer and the run out problem solved. Kept original thrust plate without issue.
