[Tigers] overflow catch can

I can see how a catch can/bottle/bag would allow you to overfill the expansion tank. However, I don’t see how that would help keep the engine cooler. The expansion tank provides a place for the expanded coolant to expand into and then back into the cooling system when the coolant cools down. But that coolant in the expansion tank isn’t being used to cool the engine as it is not circulating into the system when the engine is running. I do agree that every Tiger should have an overflow to catch any coolant that is pushed out of the expansion tank because, as was mentioned, you do not want it going into the environment. Just my 2 cents.
