[Tigers] Seats-What would you do?

I own a Mk1A that I purchased back in 1982. The seats were redone before that time and looked good. The seat frame on the drivers side broke a couple of years ago and I've just recently torn it all apart and repaired it. The cushions both needed new foam so the passenger seat was removed as well. The seat covers are really in pretty good shape and can be reused and the seat backs will be reattached as is with no other work to be done to them but there is one issue, the covers are smooth and I believe they are supposed to be pebble to be correct for the year of the car. What would you guys do? They are Tiger seats just not the correct texture. I have acquired new foam and diaphragms and would only require minimal work to get the car on the road again. Are the wrong seat covers that big of a deal since about 85% of these cars are already modified in some fashion? Thank you in advance.-Brad
