Of course Rick is always happy to help. My thought is to put your top up, check out the gap between to top of the windshield at that spot and the top above. Confirm that the slot is deep enough to allow the rubber bit to fit in a way that allows contact, but prevent head seal to not seal. Then use weatherstripping glue to finalize.
But I’ve never done it.
