[Tigers] Tiger Hardtop

I’d say the average price for removable, decent condition hardtop’s seem to be in the $1,500 $2,000 range regardless of the manufacture of the car. There are two sub $800 Tiger hardtops on Ebay right now (needing attention). One factory, the other not. A while back I was looking at Hardtops for my nephew’s Miata and it seemed that even Mercedes hardtops were within that $1,500 $2,000 range.

As to the Pentastar adding value (as noted above). The engine would have been a 273, not a 318. BUT..., had that been the case a 360 would have dropped right in. No special stroked 347 needed. So, put back the $5,000 and likely add more! And, had they had today’s engines crank triggered ignition it would have eliminated the distributor problem. But more a dream than a reality because the Chrysler LA engine is very wide and left/right fitment is as much an issue as front/back.

I wonder how much added value you get for a Pentastar?

I was looking at the Hagerty pricing estimates for my Tiger recently, and, IIRC, having the factory hard top can add $5000 to the Tiger's value.
