If you glue some hi density foam around 3 sides at each end, that cushions and holds the thing in place. There is also a rubber drain piece it sits on. CS70 in Rick's catalogue.

I'm trying to figure out how to get everything installed under the dash and
I have a question about the heater core. The repair manual pretty much
says "stick it in the air box under the hood latch plate". It also says
something about making sure the felt is installed. The drawing shows what
might be two strips of something like weatherstripping that wrap around
each end cap.
So, should I just wrap some weatherstripping around the thing and drop it
in the hole? It seems like it might want to move around in there.
Thanks,
Joe Brown
