Derrick
I have 4 - 13" American Racing wheels with lug nuts and McGuard locks that I would sell cheap plus shipping that I took off  when upgrading wheels and tires.  If interested email me at jmartiniii at yahoo.com.

  3. Re: Time for a new steering wheel (Michael Wood)
Thursday I will be taking my decades dormant Tiger to a shop to have the work done that I don't have the time to do.  Excited but now I need to insure it so that I can register it (CA) and drive it.
It has a 302 and will be getting Dale's front end (I DID get the rear Wilwoods installed - but that took a year) so it is not a gem.
Grundy?  Hagerty?  Add to my Allstate?  Googling "classic car insurance" and most of the major companies come up.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
DerrickYes, I just asked about insurance but also want to replace the steering wheel.

Wondering about diameter.  Dale's front end make a smaller diameter reasonable?
Alternatively would be interested in any less fancy wheels that work well just to have something to drive for a while and upgrade later.
Thanks, in advance, for any musings.
DerrickMoto Lita are used by lots of folks, Nice quality. I like the Nardi wood wheel better, personally, because of the smaller center hub bore and the finish. But, I can't drive a car with a wood wheel, so run a leather rimmed "period" Momo.

A smaller diameter is definitely no problem with Dale's front end...heck, it isn't a problem with a stock front end. Added bonus, you have room for your hands to go if you like fixed hand position steering over shuffling :)
