You might want to try Apple Hydraulics.  I had them rebuild my booster in
2008.  The cost was $390.  I believe that the $390 was after a $25 coupon.
They know the booster so they can quote a price without seeing your core
unit.  When they rebuild they sleeve the bores with brass so you will
essentially have a new unit with no wear.  As I recall, if you want to pay
with credit card there will be a charge, but if you include your check when
you ship your booster to them the check will clear while they're doing the
work, so there's no delay for the check to clear.  As I recall, they turned
my unit around in about a week.
You can find Apple Hydraulics on the web and they have an 800 number if you
want to talk.
