[Tigers] Original Tiger engine Study

I’d like to encourage everyone to participate in Ron’s endeavor to acquire this information.

I’m not sure if this is applicable to any of the locations he seeks numbers from (maybe the block number behind the starter???)..., but I have slide a wooden shim coated with clay or plumbers putty into the difficult to access areas to retrieve a pressing of the part numbers. Holding the imprint up to a mirror assists in reading the numbers.

To All

Here is a copy of my work sheet. I’m always looking for more information for all the Tiger engine groups.

Currently I’m looking at the E7KL and G13KA engine groups.

I don’t have a single complete record for either of these groups and I would like to change that.

What I really need is engine assembly dates for these engines so I can help a fellow Tiger owner understand if he has the correct original block. I don’t know if I can exactly determine if it is the correct block but I’m going to try.

All information about Tiger engines is welcome and I will gladly help you decipher any Ford numbers.

Thank you

Ron Fraser
