Tigers,


I've had my Mk1A apart for three (3) years for an extensive restoration.  We took over 40 pounds of bondo off the car while taking the car down to the bare metal.  Some fabrication was necessary.  Lots of past sins!  I had the bumpers rechromed and purchased new door handles, hinges, badges, etc.  New sound/heat pads, carpets, seats, harnesses, Wilwood brakes, etc, etc.  Thank God for CAT, Classic Sunbeam and Sunbeam Specialties!  There are very few things left to do now (chrome, trim, badges, brakes, etc).  Yesterday, we installed a new battery.  The car started right up and sounded really sweet.  I swear the car smiled at me!  It's been a long, long time.  I can't wait to have the car totally done!

I just had to share this with people who understand!
