I don’t have measurements handy but I have 205/45-16’s on my car. In the front I have maybe half an inch from the top of the tire to the fender arch, and the rear is a bit lower so that the car sits more or less level. I have coil-overs with 450 lb/inch springs in the front and old CAT rear leafs (I think) with 2 inch spacers between the axle tubes and the springs. I don’t think I’ve ever hit the rear axle on any part of the body with this setup.
I will say that rear spring spacers almost immediately put you into axle tramp territory unless you have an additional axle locating device such as a torque arm (I use Dan Walters’) or traction bars. My car came with LAT weld-on traction masters, but they (a) don’t really apply enough leverage to really kill tramp and (b) really wreck the ride because they overdetermine the rear axle path on suspension movement. If you really want to do it right, don’t care about stock appearance, and have money to spend, get someone to build you a three or four link rear suspension with coilovers ;) . I have another set of Aldan coilovers sitting in a box but it’s a “when I get around to it” thing.
I can take more detailed measurements if you want.

Any comments from those who have lowered cars on what they set up for ride height? How low before interference with rear end hitting the frame? Any measurements from say the bottom of the sills or frame behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels? How thick of spacers or changes to leaf spring set up?
I've got the frame straight and the Tom hall leaf spring reinforcements installed. The Mustang II Mike H Front end track width and dimensions on a ford 8.8 rear end to give me the right rear track width. With that I've sorted out wheels (16x7 with +30mm offset to run 205/45/16) at all 4 corners. The set up is spec'ed to keep the wheels Tucked inside stock non flared fender lips.
The car is off to body shop in the next month and all four fenders replaced to go to standard non flared fenders. I can have the body shop make tweaks as appropriate for wheel opening height and width. I'd like to set a low and level stance, but it seems like the rear end will have limits on how low I can set it up. With the mustang II FE and adjustability I can set a wide range of ride height.
