Hey, Thanks! I do or did use WIX on the land speed race car.  At that time I
had to order them online but lemme check if  WalMark, Autozone or Oreilly's
might have them. While Pahrump is not the ends of the earth, you Can see it
from here..

I have compiled a list of interchangeable shorty filters and have a Wix
51335 on my 260.  The Wix seems to be fair quality and I've used it for the
past dozen or so oil changes.  Seems to be readily available here locally or
you could search the big box auto parts store websites.

I know a number of ya?ll use shorty oil filters to solve clearance issues.
But which ones, brand and part number,  do you recommend? That use the
standard Ford ? x 16 thread nipple to attach the spin on filter?
