Jay,
I’m not using a servo so this does not directly apply to me. However, I did notice in the response that two individuals from the engineering department signed the letter. I’m thinking that today it would have been routed through the sales department and they would have circularly directed you (back) to the established catalog – in essence not answering your question but thanking you fore interest in their product. So, for those who do use a servo it seems a piece of valuable information you have provided.

Subject: [Tigers] Lockheed Letter on Correct Servo
Here are the installation instructions I got when I bought my servo from VB, and the letter Lockheed sent me telling me which one was correct for my 1967 SV Alpine.
On the last page is a list of cars and the servos that are supposed to go with.
On the second page of the instructions is a chart showing the boost ratio of each of the servos.
The Lockheed letter says that LE10117 is correct. The last page shows that one for Austin Healey 3000, Aston Martin, Jaguar XK120-150, Lagonda, MGC, and Alfa Romeo.
According to the second page, that's a 3:1 servo.
They list LE15741 for the Alpine Series 2. That's a 2.3:1 servo.
The Tiger is not listed. But it sure seems like it would fit with the LE10117 cars more than the Series 2 - at least in size/weight, I don't know about brake system size.
And, as I said in my first post on this, at that time VB sold the 1.9:1, SS sold the 2.3:1, and I could only find the 3:1 version at Jaguar vendors.
Another thing to notice from the instructions are the specific angles they want it mounted at. I don't know that I've seen Sunbeam ones mounted at that angle.
Jay
