What is special about those pads?  And do they shorten the life of the rotors?

I have them on my car with the 15 inch panasports. The kit is nice and easy to install.
I'm running hawk black pads with a Datsun master with no booster and they work great.
I wasn't happy with them till I tried the hawk pads and then I was sold.

Tigers,

I'm thinking about installing the Wildwood Brake Kit (for the Tiger) on my Mk1A.

I have 15" Panasports on my car.  Has anyone out there installed the kit?  Results?  Worth the expense?
