[Tigers] Brake light bulbs

Since I'm messing with the brake electrics...  I know I saw the info
somewhere many moons ago, but what is the American equivalent of the
"L.380" stop light/tail light bulb?  Nothing useful via google, but 1157
showed up in some old posts in the archives of this forum.  Is this still
correct?  Reason:  I'm thinking of swapping to LED bulbs.
