I was under the impression that only the 2 outermost covers had rubber and only where it butted up against the back cover. Neither of the 2 MKI’s I have owned nor ANY of the MKI’s I have ever looked at, has had a rubber edge along the back edge of the 3 panels. Am I missing something here?

These are a set of three pieces of rubber of some sort that go onto the 3
panels that hide the soft top when down. I have never personally seen a set
of these but Rick says all the cars with the metal panels had them. He
carries them because a customer asked him to get some made up. I ordered a
set to test out.
