>Brian & all, When I set up my garage work shop 30' x30' with 16' peak and 14' eves I went with a 5" floor pour for all the strength I would need for my 4 post lift. I want to add another 4 post in the future so I can store all 4 of my cars. Be sure you make the height and width of your garage doors big enough. I did 8' wide and 10' tall roll ups. 8' is barely enough to get the lift in or out assembled.My 2c worth Dave Green

It's OK for occasional service work, though not with the same accessibility as a 2 post, plus it was a reasonably easy DIY assembly, and I did not have to worry about the slab thickness/strength like a 2 post. It was also useful with the casters to move it easily a couple times, especially when I had it first set up.
