[Tigers] Tiger Ignition Coils

MessageRon is right about some poor color matches. That is why I mentioned about the vendor stating if the product matched OEM specs. I know for a long while NPD was out of stock of the correct color coils. For the ones they did have they stated up front that the color/configuration was incorrect.

My guess is that only 1 manufacturer is making these new original type coils.

The only negative I have read about them was that some of the first ones had a poor yellow color match.

I believe what is out there now is similar or better than the OEM part and the yellow top is much closer to the original Ford part.

I want to replace my coil with an original equivalent piece. It's a Mk1A, all stock ignition system. It appears that most of the old Mustang suppliers have numerous versions of what appears to be the original type coil. Does anyone have any info of what's good or bad among these?

  Stu
