[Tigers] Fire Extinguisher mounting ideas

I have a small Halon fire extinguisher that fits in the center console.
I need to check its condition and I'm not sure if that size is adequate.
TBON shows the Rootes fire extinguisher mounted just behind the seat nearly
in the door opening. That seems like a good spot to mount one but today's
fire extinguisher are different in size so it will take some extra thought.
I wonder if the shoulder harness bolt location might be a starting point for
a mount.
The Rootes extinguisher holder is the spring clip type as shown in Michael
King's photos which makes it quick to grab. TBON indicates there were 4, 8
and 16 oz fire extinguishers available.
Safety first and always.

Interesting ideas, but...
I don't have a roll bar, so those ideas are out. The extinguisher's
diameter won't let it fit under the adjusting lever on the passenger seat,
so that location probably won't work. And the same diameter issue would be
annoying on the passenger kick panel, plus its likely foot collisions would
release the extinguisher from its bracket. Annoying. So I'm still looking.

For street cars (i.e. not a full fire system), I've always used simple
bracket mounts that pick up the front bolts for the seat frame and place the
bottle in front of the passenger's seat, under the front edge. Easy to get
at, out of the way and clean. :)

On the lower part of the roll bar is good if you have one,
On the kick panel on the passengers side can be good depending on the size
of the extinguisher

Bought a new extinguisher after my recent adventure. My old one was kept on
the floor behind my seat, which made the garden hose more accessible once I
opened the hood.
I'm thinking of putting the new one on the tranny tunnel, just ahead of the
shifter, or on the panel at the rear of the passenger compartment.
But I noted that max storage temp for the extinguisher is 120F...
So where have you guys mounted extinguishers, easy access in a panic, but
not in the way?
