    Since the starter you have was working, I would say have it rebuilt and
you will know it fits correctly.
 
If you want a new starter on hand try ordering an A/T starter and see if it
looks correct.

Can't believe that I used the original for a core 10 years ago must have
lucked out on the past rebuilt, so I guess I will have this one rebuilt.
