On occasion I have found it worth the time to remove the seat and use lawn
furniture cushions (with the wife's permission) on the interior floor. Just
be cautious of sharp edges and dripping oil/grease. Tom

Hi Graham,

You can disassemble the motor and replace the brushes, clean the
commentator, oil the motor bearings and you can grease the cables and
grease the
wheel boxes without removing the unit from the car. you will spend some
time
on your back under the dash.

Any suggestions on how to replace the wiper motor (and the spined
extensions
that drive the wiper arms) with minimal disassembly?
