Hi listers, happy Labor Day!

My October issue of Sportscar arrived and I noted a rather stunning fact. They
routinely publish what they call the "National Marque Scoreboard". This
scoreboard lists all SCCA race classes and the name of the car manufacturer.
For GT2, where Tom Patton and Barry Schonberger run "Sunbeam" was the number
two manufacturer after Porsche but ahead of BMW, Nissan, Rover, and Toyota.
Neat to see a company that has not produced a car since 1967!

Also the SCCA runoffs are coming up starting Thursday, September 20 and
continue through Sunday the 23rd. You can catch the action at

One last note to any who live at all close to Chicago. Next Sunday is the all
British car show. There is a separate area for Sunbeams that is usually well
