[Tigers] Hydraulic lifts

What about interference with the garage door opening? Does it have to be a roll up? Or can any of them still work with a solid single door?

Tym

I also have a 10 foot ceiling (one car garage) and with my Bendpak HD-9X I
can easily fit my Tiger on Top and 67 Vette on bottom. I am able to pull the
Tiger far enough forward to clear the garage door which only has about eight
foot clearance. If I put the Vette on Top both still fit but it is very
tight.

I also had an "oops" and hit the overhead light bulb. No damage but the pop
scared the heck out of me.

Tigers,

How much ceiling clearance do I need for a Back Yard Buddy?

Thanks,

Tym McDowell

I'm thinking of adding a scissor lift to my shop. I don't have room for a
two-or four-poster lift as the ceiling is too low, but a scissor lift will
work just fine.

Hi Andy,

Rethink a four poster. They are much more stable than a scissor hoist. I
have a Back Yard Buddy four poster and I can stop it every 8 inches so it
will work with a low ceiling. I can get to almost any part under a car. Even
when it is not all the way up, I can park a Tiger under it.
You may be able to cut holes in your ceiling for the top of the posts if
they are too high.
