Hi Tony,
>From the K&N database there are the following matches. Dimensions are in
inches:

Part# ID OD Height
E-2859 11.75 13.5 1.5
E-3710 11.75 13.5 2
E-3717 11.75 13.5 2.5
E-3720 11.75 13.5 2.75
E-3723 11.75 13.5 3

The E-2859 is listed as fitting the Tiger, but the others have the same ID and
OD spec (it's how I found them). I haven't tried any of the others besides the
E-3710.
If you have a really short intake manifold, or a tall power bulge on your
hood, there are some options for better breathing...

I'm currently out of the gauge stabilizers - I have to order up parts for
another build. On the last set I had small printing etched into the underside
of the regulator to help with hookup, but I probably should make that text
larger.

Theo

Theo would you give us that part number. You provided it previously but when
my yahoo account was hijacked all my folders and tons of Tiger information was
lost. My appreciation in advance and also I need another gauge voltage
stabilizer for a friend if you will send me cost I can send a certified check
or paypal- your choice and Tony Lang 103 W. Bond St. Benton. IL 62812 with
directions please- I dont want to fry things when hooked up wrong. Regards!

There are two things that affect the performance of the air cleaner: first,
that the element is only 1.5 inch high, and that limits the amount of airflow
that the filter can sustain (although that may still be more than adequate
for
most performance levels); second, that the air has to turn a very sharp
corner
from the filter plenum to the throat of the carburetor. The choke air horn
also restricts the airflow. There was a company that made an airflow
deflector
that was supposed to reduce the loss due to the sharp corner - I forget the
name, but IIRC Tim Ronak dyno tested it.

I am running a 2 inch tall K&N element in my factory air cleaner, on an F4B
manifold, and it seems to clear the hood. Other combinations are taller or
tilt the carb differently and this causes the air cleaner to hit the hood...
YMMV.

Cheers,
Theo
