Subject: Re: [Tigers] June Jaunt Tech Session 260 Stroker
Hello all,
The 260 stroker tech session produced an interesting Tiger engine with a lot
of performance. The engine is a B19KC (Mk IA) 260, stock block and heads,
that received the following:
Bore: 3.830" (0.030" over)
Scat steel crank 3.256" stroke
(neutral balanced assembly from degreed harmonic balancer to billet
flywheel)
Custom I-beam rods
3-ring custom aluminum pistons flat tops
CR: 9.4:1
Comp Cam hydraulic custom grind
302 exhaust and intake valves
Roller tip rockers (fits under stock valve cover)
Heads ported to 22% increased air flow (cc matched and flowed)
Edelbrock Performer RPM (HiPo 289 remake)
Holley 600 cfm carb
Tubular headers
CID: 316 cubes
Max torque: 352.7 lb-ft @ 4736 rpm producing 318 hp
Max power: 350.7 hp at 5785 rpm with 328.4 lb-ft torque
Power bands:
2003 rpm = 98.8 hp
3006 rpm = 180.9 hp
4023 rpm = 262.3 hp
5043 rpm = 327.9 hp
5785 rpm = 350.7 hp (still climbing, limited by leaning of too small
secondary jets).
This stout running engine is visually an original Tiger powerplant that is
still equipped with its original valve covers and foil sticker.
