[Tigers] Speedometer

Yup, got the same problem also, both the tach and speedo, instead of tapping
on the glass or woodwork putting fingerprints on them, I reach up behind the
dash and give a tap to the bottom of each gauge. You would think the paint
would be pretty dry after about 12 years or so since I painted mine!!

I've got the same problem in California!
Next time I repaint the needle I will try removing old layers of paint
and putting some silicon spray on the stop and needle contact point.
Rapping on the glass is my work-around. If you have the room,
maybe try taking her up to 140 or so, that would probably unstick it ;-)

Same problem here, Jim. I think Tom has hit the nail on the head; over time

and heat, the needle tends to stick to the stop on the face of the speedo.
Mine's so bad that I can't get it unstuck with just a rap on the glass or
something like that. One clue to look for is if your odometer is still
working, then the cable is good and it's your needle that's stuck.
