Jim,

These were made starting in the 70's, ibelieve tiger tim may have made the
first bath (witha tiger head LAT style) bolt rto secure it. They are done in
the same style as the LAT rocker covers and sump and are aftermarket, not a
factory or LAT part. Since then many people have done runs of them in the
USA and UK.. across 70's, 80's, 90's and evena few years back. Quality
varies.

As for price.. it all depends what you are willing to pay.. they generally
go for less than a stock item, but still sell for a few hundred USD.
