How about you??
Many of these rebuilds are not really listed anywhere but they maybe out
there somewhere.
I suggest anytime anyone is rebuilding, fixing or upgrading; they
should take digital pictures, make notes and write a tech tip even if it is
just for yourself. The computer age makes putting all of this together
easier to compile, store and share; so hop to everyone. Don't assume
someone else is doing the work, be a contributor yourself.
Every problem has multiple fixes so be aware that someone may read
your tech tip and say I think its better to do it this way. Well that
person should write up that fix and share the information that way we can
iterate the tech tip to a better fix for everyone.
I try to do this and some of my tech tips or information have been printed,
some of them are still a work in progress.
Share the knowledge

Subject: [Tigers] turn signal rebuild
Hello,
Over Thanksgiving weekend, I rebuilt my turn signal indicator mechanical
unit, with the nylon piece and rivet from SS.
Parts obtained from SS were spot on, but the instructions were woefully
lacking. Looked in Sunbeam Survivor and Tigers United. Same thing. Has
nobody
written this P.I.T.A. rebuild anywhere?
BTW: its now done and working.
Best,
Jim Armstrong
