[Tigers] Le Mans Tiger Gallery

Uncle Wally was right. At least, if my experience was in any way typical, he
was. I bought my MK1A new in '67. It was one of two Tigers that the
(east-coast) dealer had left on his lot from the previous year. The car was
titled as 1966-1967. I don't think that the dealer knew that there was a model
change (to the MKII) in '67, and I don't think that his dealership ever saw or
sold a MKII. I suspect that the reason that Tigers moved so slowly on the east
coast was because the dealers didn't promote the car like it was promoted on the
west coast.

Buck, as you are aware, Wally Swift was the Chrysler rep to Sunbeam and
had the eastern territory responsibility.

He told me in the last year, Tiger were just sitting at the dealers, and
he had his son, a HS student, drive the car for a while, and then they
sold it as a Used Car.

East coast, West coast, was different as far as Tiger were concerned.
