[Tigers] Tire deterioration idea?

I am a little leery about buying Coker tires. A few years ago I bought a pair
of the Coker Classic redline tires for my Jaguar. It turns out they only used
1 ply in the sidewall (this is something they don't list in the specs). These
tires were so squishy they were unsafe and I had to remove them.
