	The bolts are 1/2" UNF x 3 1/4"; UNF is compatible with SAE fine
thread but there are small differences.  An SAE tap run through these
threads will cut metal.

Are you sure those bolts are British Standard Fine Thread  (BSF)?

What size are they?
