I have a Direct Lift rotisserie, and like it fine, especially for the
price.  Mine came from Greg Smith Equipment.  I have some angst over the
Chinese origin of it, but I don't guess the demise of American
manufacturing rests solely on my shoulders. . . .



I would echo most of the comments on paint removal.  Sandblasting
destroys too much, even if you are good.  Bead blasting is better.  Soda
might be even better (so it costs more).  Dipping is great, except for
seams and hidden areas.  My '70 280sl will probably get dipped, once I
stop working on the new house, as it has a lot of undercoating that the
other methods won't touch.
