[Tigers] Removing the door fixed window frame

Robin,

There are 2 bolts on the bottom of each door fixed window frame that permit
you to adjust it inward or outward. There are 2 rubber plugs on the bottom of
each door. Remove the front rubber plug to access the lower bolts for the
fixed window. I believe the bolts are 1/4" hex heads. Moving the bottom of the
frame outward moves the top inward and visa versa. Is sounds as though the
bottom may have come loose and moved inward as the top was pushed outward by
the weatherstrip. Try this first before you remove the frames. Is that what
you were talking about. If so, did it help?

The fixed window frame on the driver side on my Tiger is bent away from the
windshield frame and does not seat against the weather-strip. I read
somewhere that the frames are the same for both sides but bent opposite so a
slight bow towards the windshield is correct. I suspect that if this is
true, I may be dealing with a passenger side frame installed on the driver
side from a PO. Has anyone removed the frame without removing the window
or regulator and can confirm this to be possible? Either way, is there a
step by step instruction for disassembly/reassembly for the window and
regulator? Robin Young
