[Tigers] Shelby 427 Tiger

Hey! Careful now with the Dodge/Shelby Charger Daytona bashing! We (the
original driver, Chris Thoman, and myself) are currently re-commissioning the
2.2 liter Dodge Charger that held its class record of 199.0something mph back
in the early nineties at Bonneville. This car ran both naturally aspirated
and turbocharged motors at various times. With a naturally aspirated motor it
ran at over 149 mph.

Currently, the car is in for paint in its original colors. We will be testing
at El Mirage in June and returning the car to Bonneville in August.

This car was originally campaigned by Shelby American (or whatever they called
themselves at that time) with the full support of Chrysler. It was originally
driven by Steve Hope and Scott Harvey. It is now owned by Steve Hope.

Okay now for the reality part. When was the last time anyone saw one of these
on the street. Maybe there is something to them not lasting well...

The reality is, with Shelby still alive and the readily available parts,

an all aluminium 427(Windsor) Shelby Tiger is VERY doable.

...If not Ideal...

And, of course, it would be ...an original...Shelby...!

...Be careful what you ask (dream) for!

...so, let's see, that means being able to light up the tires in all SIX
( with a little cutting) gears!

...is THIS a GREAT country or WHAT?!
