[Tigers] steering column disassembly

While I have the steering column out, I've noticed it doesn't rotate smoothly
(surprise, surprise after 45 years).  I find the disassembly instructions in
the shop manual to be vague and cryptic (more surprises).  Does anybody have
better directions to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the steering column?
This is the last disassembly I need to perform before I can finally start
putting Tigger back together.  Thanks.
