[Tigers] fresh air vents

Hi everyone, while I'm here in Florida staying relatively warm  I' am trying 
to figure out a way to get some cool air in the Tigers foot  well area. My car 
is a 1964 ,so the vents are closed. Has any one cut them open  and come up 
with a solution to keep the rain out? Vent boxes from a newer car  aren't seen 
on Ebay to dam often,ya know. I was also thinking of making some  type of scoop 
to attach to the exsisting vent opening to push more air through.  What are 
your thoughs on this guys.
