After consulting issue #5 of Norm Miller's Tiger Press, I would say 
that since you have a late MK IA, your car should have a Sunbeam LTD 
decal (not ROOTES LTD) with the following information:

Engine:             6884-B19KC
Model:              C4PZ-6001-CF    (V8-260, 4-spd manual trans)
S.O. Number:  SO-2632         (Special Order #, generator-equipped)

The Sunbeam LTD decal should be on the front of the passenger-side 
valve cover, and the Product of Ford Motor Company decal should be on 
the rear of the driver's-side cover. BTW, this little tag is not 
blue, it is silver and black, just like the Sunbeam LTD decal.
