I had one in an engine for a Mustang of mine, and I had to take the engine to
a rebuilder who had someone remove it with a laser cutter.

Subject: [Tigers] Easy out removal
Anybody have a suggestion for removing an easy out (great misnomer) that
has
broken off flush with the surface? Heat is not an option. Will anything
grind up one of these things? Thanks.
