"and a beginning for the younger ones among us."

  While analog in action the wave is "digit-al" in presentation.  That 
should catch on with the younger crowd. Although, they may struggle with 
confusion between a sports car wave and a Wav. file. But, as you indicate, 
they have to start somewhere.  Frankly, I think it's a great idea.
