[Tigers] steering rack gaitors/boots and steering u-joints

Hi there,
 
Sunbeam Specialties is waiting for a shipment of boots from England. I  can't 
wait.
 
I'm wondering if anyone knows a easy substitute for them from a more common  
car.
 
BTW: any crosses on the steering column u-joints ?
