[Tigers] Trunk spring hinge BOOTS

Well,
 
 A brief overview of the information received (a lot of  responses) on the 
spring BOOTS:
 
They came on some cars and not on others. Seems they were there on MK 1s  and 
deleted sometime on MK 1As.
 
Now, would anyone (Norm, maybe?) be able to tell us when they were  deleted?  
 
I'm going to write a separate thread on photos of a typical car like are  
available for AH 3000s.
