[Tigers] Engine ID Update: 260 HP Version of the 260?

Until seeing the "Engine ID Update" posting, I was not aware that Ford produced a 260 rated at "260 HP." Is this engine the 260 equivalent of a hipo 271 HP 289 (e.g. solid lifters, cam etc)? Anyone have details on the parts Ford used to build this one (heads, etc)? I assume this was the 260 used in the earliest Cobras, as I do not believe (could be wrong) that Ford offered such an engine in any of the cars it produced with 260's.
