Yes, I would think that lap times are not necessarily accurate in calculating side forces. The weight factor from the heavier V-8 is likely the significant contributor to side forces compared to an Alpine. All elements being equal..., yes. But, with the dynamic differences in weight (especially in the front) brings a need to look elsewhere for comparison. Tom
