[Tigers] Instrument illumination

Has  anyone come up with an easy solution for improving the 2w  that come 
with standard instrument bulbs?  I searched through the archives  and found much 
discussion on the subject, but didn't see to find a simple "plug  in' 
solution.  
The Radio Shack #1487's are great for the warning  lights.
