If you have the bucks ( $2700) there is an alternative to a 5 speed gearbox.
A Toploader overdrive:  http://www.gearvendors.com/hrford4sm.html.  You
replace the tailshaft with this unit, shorten the drive shaft, and away you
go.  Its all electronic and gives you clutchless shifting at the dragstrip.
