Yes, it definitely looks like the  first T-Bird.

I always wondered who designed the back of the Tiger, - Raymond Loewy? The
latter versions of the Tiger's back side bear a striking resemblance to a
late 50's Rambler American! Just an opinion on the back side, but I think
that something between the two Tiger versions would have been best.
