I buy oil filters at Walmart because of the low price. I use Mobil 1 oil filters on my race Bugeye and at Walmart they are $11 and change which is about $5 less than the big box auto parts stores. I went to Walmart and bought two filters. Later that day I went out to the garage to change the oil on the Bugeye and when I opened the filter box I found a Walmart brand oil filter in a Mobil 1 box. Some shithead had switched boxes and bought a Mobil 1 filter for the $4.50 price of a Walmart filter. Walmart made it right, but it meant another trip to the store and going to the service desk, etc. I always open the box and look before checking out now. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Rick</div><div dir="ltr"><br><blockquote type="cite">On Feb 10, 2025, at 11:51 AM, Rich Ball via Spridgets <spridgets@autox.team.net> wrote:<br><br></blockquote></div><blockquote type="cite"><div dir="ltr"><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"><div dir="auto">A Walmart near our house closed up a little over a year ago citing theft losses as the reason.
